GOR Group is partnering with a leading client in the mission-critical infrastructure and construction industry to identify an experienced Site Project Manager to support complex, schedule-driven projects.

To support project operations and team collaboration, preference will be given to candidates based in or able to support projects within:

Texas | North Carolina | New Jersey | Virginia | Illinois | South Carolina | Louisiana

Project-specific travel or onsite requirements may apply based on client and project needs.

As the Site Project Manager, you will serve as a central point of coordination across field teams, subcontractors, technical groups, project leadership, and other key stakeholders. You will help ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plan while maintaining visibility into production, project readiness, risks, scheduling priorities, and turnover objectives.

From planning and mobilization through execution, commissioning, and closeout, you will play a key role in keeping projects aligned, accountable, and moving forward.

What You'll Do

Lead Site Execution

• Drive day-to-day site operations across active construction projects.
• Maintain alignment between project plans, field conditions, staffing, and schedule requirements.
• Stay actively engaged with field teams, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure execution remains aligned with project objectives.

Manage Field Performance

• Monitor workforce productivity, work package progress, sequencing, and field performance.
• Coordinate self-perform and subcontracted work scopes.
• Identify production challenges early and help develop recovery plans when schedule commitments are at risk.

Lead Planning and Coordination

• Coordinate short-term and long-term field planning activities.
• Support work package releases, staffing plans, sequencing, material readiness, and execution planning.
• Facilitate coordination between construction, engineering, commissioning, operations, and project leadership.

Identify and Remove Barriers

• Proactively identify issues that could impact safety, quality, schedule, productivity, or project completion.
• Drive issues to resolution by engaging the appropriate teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain focus and structure as project priorities and field conditions change.

Maintain Project Readiness

• Track critical activities, constraints, decisions, and readiness requirements.
• Ensure teams have the information, resources, materials, and support required to execute scheduled work.
• Maintain visibility into upcoming project milestones and potential schedule risks.

Establish a Strong Operating Rhythm

• Support daily and weekly coordination meetings.
• Maintain clear communication around priorities, action items, risks, and ownership.
• Ensure decisions, coordination issues, and commitments are documented and driven to closure.

Support Turnover and Project Completion

• Coordinate testing, punch-list activities, commissioning support, turnover preparation, and closeout.
• Work across construction and technical teams to ensure systems and work areas are ready for turnover.
• Help resolve outstanding issues that could impact completion or customer acceptance.

Project Environments You'll Support

The Site Project Manager may support:

• Large-scale mission-critical and infrastructure construction projects
• Data center and hyperscale environments
• Multi-trade construction activities
• Electrical, low-voltage, MEP, and general construction scopes
• Self-perform and subcontracted field operations
• Workforce planning and trade coordination
• Work package releases and execution readiness
• Production tracking and issue resolution
• Testing, commissioning, punch-list management, and turnover activities
• Schedule-sensitive projects requiring disciplined coordination and execution

What You Bring

• 6 to 10+ years of experience supporting construction, infrastructure, mission-critical, or similarly complex project environments
• Demonstrated experience managing site execution and coordinating multiple trades on active construction projects
• Experience within electrical, low-voltage, MEP, general contracting, or related construction environments preferred
• Data center, hyperscale, critical infrastructure, industrial, or other technically complex project experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of schedule-driven construction execution and field coordination
• Experience managing both self-perform and subcontracted work scopes
• Knowledge of workforce planning, production sequencing, trade coordination, and construction readiness
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve field issues quickly
• Ability to operate with urgency while maintaining organization, structure, and execution discipline
• Strong communication skills across field teams, subcontractors, project leadership, and customers
• Ability to align operational priorities, technical requirements, staffing needs, and schedule objectives
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and consistent follow-through
• Demonstrated leadership presence and ability to drive accountability across multiple stakeholders
• Ability to remain effective in fast-paced, high-pressure, and schedule-sensitive environments
• Experience supporting commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities preferred
• Exposure to design-assist or design-build project delivery methods preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Bluebeam, or similar tools
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will also be considered

Work Environment

This position primarily operates within active construction environments and may require frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

The role also requires close visual attention when reviewing construction plans, specifications, documentation, schedules, and field conditions.
