Construction Field Coordinator

GOR Group is seeking a Construction Field Coordinator to support large-scale construction projects within the rapidly growing data center and critical infrastructure industry. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced field environments and enjoy coordinating materials, logistics, documentation, and project communication to keep projects moving forward.

Working directly with the Field Project Manager, the Construction Field Coordinator will help ensure materials, information, and site readiness are accurately tracked and communicated in alignment with project schedules and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Material Tracking & Coordination

  • Track and organize project materials, including major building components, structural assemblies, and roofing systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of quantities, locations, handling requirements, and readiness status.
  • Monitor material movement from suppliers through delivery and site staging.

Project Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain project records and documentation within Procore.
  • Generate reports, update logs, upload project documents, and ensure information remains current and accurate.
  • Capture daily field reports, photographs, drawing markups, and specification updates.

Vendor & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain complete shipping and delivery information.
  • Ensure delivery schedules and material readiness are communicated effectively to project teams.
  • Support logistics planning and field material staging activities.

Site Coordination & Communication

  • Safely navigate active construction sites while coordinating with project leadership, general contractors, and field teams.
  • Communicate material readiness, project status, and field conditions in alignment with project schedules.
  • Assist with tracking workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting process improvements.

Project Support

  • Support the Field Project Manager with reporting, coordination, and field operations activities.
  • Assist in documenting project progress without assuming supervisory or contractual responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Construction Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Field Coordinator, or similar construction-based role.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
  • Ability to safely navigate active construction sites.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate project status and material readiness against project schedules.
  • Basic ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods on uneven terrain, and lift 25–50 pounds as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial construction projects.
  • Experience with modular, prefabricated, or off-site construction methodologies.
  • Experience working alongside General Contractors, Superintendents, Project Managers, and field leadership teams.
  • Proficiency with Procore, including reporting and document management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
